#3 Pipeline Project- Snow White and Rose Red

So as you know, I'm part of a pipeline project in my Design for Media class. We're making a book trailer for Grimm's Fairytale Snow White and Rose Red.

This week as we're moving along with the project we needed to finalize the story. Beth D. (Director), Emily M.(Head of Story), Matt S.(Co-Art Director), and I sat down together to finalize the story. We were later joined by Sakhile V., Yazmin R. and Palmer P. It's always fun to work with other people on a common goal and also very challenging. Especially when we all had different visions for the story. We were all very professional and eventually sealed the deal!

I also went location scouting with Beth twice during the week. She took photos of the sites we visited to I have a link to her blog to see the photos. Some of the sites were perfect for their exteriors, like the woods, but didn't have a good cottage and vice versa.

We also went thrifting to find costumes for the characters. We were lucky to find the prefect fur coat for the Bear/Prince. It was a very rewarding day. Having tangible items makes the project feel like it's coming along nicely.

Makaylee W. also created the final character designs for the production. Here is a link to her blog. I also had Sarah B. making paper roses for some of the shots in the production. I'll be building the crowns for the models as well as the Bear head.

I've compiled the Master Prop List for the production. This is an easy way to see what people on the production already have as well as keep everything organized.
