Frontpage

It all started on a cold day in January at the local Chipotle. I was with my two friends, Karl Allsop and Sean Dunn. We decided we wanted to make a movie together.

Here is the movie we created:

Location Scouting:

We went for a film noir psychological thriller starring a femme fatal. This project that endured the entire semester, was full of challenges. It was exciting to start to work more professionally in terms of using real actors, finding real locations, etc. Trying to work as a production designer with a group of peers who aren't used to working with one definitely was a learning experience all around. I learned that I need to express my role early on so there isn't confusion later, as well as meet people in the middle.

I can't expect people to know that make-up and hair will take longer than 5 minutes when they've never had make-up and hair done for a shoot before. As well as me not understanding certain technicalities when in comes to the camera and how scenes are shot. It was definitely a great experience for all involved. I really think we all overcame more than we thought we would.
