This past week in my illustration class we did caricatures! We were supposed to take a risk and experiment with the mediums. That's a lot easier said than done. The first caricature I did of Adam Levine was more reserved. Once, I opened up the process became very fun and invigorating! In other versions, I used leaves and sticks to paint it.
I'm happy with it because it's not something I'd normally do. I let myself be free! Afterall, I'm a student I shouldn't be afraid to take risks with my art!
